Volunteer Opportunities

House of Refuge

    Prepare and serve a dinner meal for men.  Join them for dinner.
    Great For:     Men, women, families
    When: Evenings M - TH   How Often: Once a month/every other month

    Help with our food ministry picking up or sorting food.
    Great For: Men, women
    When:     Mornings   How Often: Once a week/once a month

    Help sort/organize Mens clothes.
    Great For: Men, women, families
    When:     Any time   How Often: Once a quarter

    Come and hang out for dinner/Bible study and just be a friend.
    Great For: Men
    When:     Evenings (T,W,TH)   How Often: Once a month/every other month

    Answer the office phone, help with office duties.
    Great For: Men, women
    When: Mornings   How Often: Once a week/once a month

    Do small, easy maintenance projects.
    Great For: Men, women
    When:     Any time   How Often: Once a month/twice a month

    We always have various projects/activities to repair/maintain our properties, landscaping, cleaning, etc.

      House of Hope

      We will need plenty of dedicated volunteers to make our families successful in this program. 

        Be a member of a church Team suppporting a Mom and her children.
        Great For:         Women/older couples
        When: Thurs.evenings   How Often: Monthly dinner; as needed

        Facilitate a 4-6 week Life Skills Class.
        Great For:         Women or couples
        When:         Tues. evenings   How Often: One night a week for 4-6 weeks

        Facilitate a 4-6 week Bible Class.
        Great For: Women or couples
        When: Thurs.evenings   How Often: One night a week for 4-6 weeks

        Help with childcare while Mom's are in classes.
        Great For: Men, women
        When: Tues or Thur even.   How Often: Once a week or Once a month

        Prepare and serve a monthly community meal.

        When: 3rd Thur. each mo.   How Often: Once a quarter, once a year

        Help maintain our "store" sorting clothing and household items.
        Great For: Men, women, families
        When: Any time   How Often: As needed

        We always have various projects/activities to repair/maintain our properties, landscaping, cleaning, etc.

        Clean and organize a vacant apartment to prepare for a new Mom.
        Great For: Men, women, families
        When: Any time   How Often: As needed
